WOODSTOCK FARM, Chesapeake City, Maryland is owned by Mrs. Richard C.Dupont, who races in the name of Bohemia Stable. The greatest runner for Bohemia, and one of the best runners of the 20th Century was Mrs.Dupont's great gelding KELSO, 5-time Horse of the Year in the 1960s, and winner of the Jockey Club Gold Cup 5 times. His sire, YOUR HOST and dam, MAID OF FLIGHT are also buried here.
The cemetery also includes the graves of NEARCTIC, Canadian Horse of the Year, and sire of NORTHERN DANCER, EXPLODENT, and ICECAPADE; the good runner and sire T.V. COMMERCIAL, and the classy racemare VENOMOUS (dam of TREACHEROUS and EXPLODENT). - A.P. |
