A Race Gazeteer offers a geographically organized guide to races and racing places in England and Ireland, along with diagrams of the principal courses. Steeplechasing takes a brief look at the history of chasing, with hyperlinks to related material. Champions of the Turf includes charts listing annual U.S.A. champions. Boston vs. Fashion is an account of one of the greatest American match races from the American Register. Racing in Australia looks as the geographic and social communities in that country.
The first installment in the Trainers section is an illustrated essay Les Anglais in France which surveys the history of racing in France and discusses many of the most important English training dynasties.
